09 DECEMBER 2002: One of eight Massey University 75th Anniversary Medals was awarded to NZSAP member Dr. Brian Wickham. Brian has impacted positively on the income of New Zealand dairy farmers during his 22-year tenure with LIC. He developed a database to generate production worth of individual animals to assist farm management decisions and created a uniquely-New Zealand genetic evaluation system that allows genetic comparisons across breeds.
