Young Member's Award


The purpose of the award is to encourage excellence in research planning and execution and communication of results by young members of the Society's annual Conference. The applicants have to have submitted a paper for the annual conference, which has been accepted, and provided 3 copies of the written version of the paper to the Executive Secretary two weeks prior to the start of the annual conference.

To be eligible the applicant must be a full or student member of the Society and under 35 years of age on 31st March prior to the conference and have completed their PhD less than 2 years prior to this date (if PhD held) and be the first senior author of the paper and be presenting his first or second technical presentation as a member at the Society's annual conference.
