APPLICATION FORMAT FOR ANIMAL SCIENCE AWARD

This format should be used as a guide to preparing each application.

4. When did you become a financial member of NZ Society of Animal Production?
5. Describe (up to 1 page of A4) the purpose for which a grant would be used (including an assessment of the benefits resulting from your project).
6. Summarise (up to 1 page of A4) your achievements/involvement in agriculture, agricultural extension, science etc., and in the Society’s activities over the last 5 years.
7. Briefly detail any other award or funding which you have received from the Society.

9. Nominate 2 referees to whom the Management Committee may refer. (Note Clause 5h)
10. I agree to provide reports of the activities supported by the Awards. These may be progress reports each 6 months, plus a final report on completion of the project; or a technical report with a summary suitable for use in the Society’s Newsletter. These reports will be forwarded to the Secretary of the Society as prescribed in the letter specifying conditions of Award acceptance.
11. Provide written confirmation that the objectives of this application have been approved or endorsed by your employer.
