Biotechnology in Dairying Conference and Lactational Physiology Workshop

New Zealand Society of Animal Production
AgResearch is arranging a conference on Biotechnology in Dairying, which will be sponsored by the OECD. There will be a plethora of international scientists attending the conference to be held in Wellington on February 7-9, 1996.

Most aspects of dairying will be covered, including nutritional and processing quality of milk, new genetic technologies, nutrition, reproduction, bST and animal health. Any inquiries concerning this conference should be directed to Bob Welch at AgResearch, Corporate Office in Hamilton (07 834 6600).

It is hoped that as a spin-off from this conference, a Lactational Physiology Workshop will be held on the morning of Monday, 12 February, at Waikato University, just before the opening of the 56th Annual Conference. Colin Prosser (07 838 5190) is the organiser.
