Liveweight and slaughter data are reported from Southdown x
Romney lambs, reared under fat lamb conditions, to illustrate a
technique that has been used for evaluating fat lamb production of ewes
of two different nutritional histories. A comparison is made of two
similar groups of lambs of 56 lb liveweight and over a December, killed
6 to 7 weeks apart, to examine effects on carcass characteristics.
