Problems in the economic interpretation of feeding trials
intended to be of use to farmers are considered. It is suggested that
regression analysis is more useful as an analytical technique in such
trials than is analysis of variance and problems concerned with
selection of an appropriate regression equation are discussed.
Reference is made to data from a trial involving whey and meal feeding
of pigs.
