The CF2000 farm monitoring programme enables farmers to monitor
factors relevant to their property and management, as well as enabling
comparisons to be made with other members of the group through
benchmarking. Data recording is divided into a compulsory core section
and an optional section. Data is processed by a bureau, and the reports
which include a variety of graphs showing an individual’s performance
relative to the group, are returned to participating farmers along with
comments from the farmers’ consultant. Members-only field days are held
three times per year for educational and motivational purposes.
